Homemade Pan Release
Homemade Cake pan release with just 3 ingredients that's available in your pantry.
Vegetable shortening or Vanaspati - 3 tbsp
Unsalted Butter - 3 tbsp
All purpose flour or Maida - 3 tbsp
Melt the Vanaspati in a bowl over low flame.
Switch off the stove and drop the butter and keep swirling the bowl for the butter to melt in the heat itself.
This will prevent the butter for turning into ghee.
Let the mixture cool down.
Add the flour and whisk till smooth.
Transfer this Pan release to a clean and dry jar or bottle.
Use it to grease your cake tins whenever a recipe calls for greasing and flouring a tin while baking cakes.
You can double or triple the recipe easily by using all the ingredients in equal proportions.
