Heat a pressure cooker with oil.
Add cinnamon, cloves and bay leaf and cook for few seconds till you get the aroma.
Add onions, ginger, green chili and saute over low flame till the onion become translucent.
Add broccoli florets, peas, black pepper powder and mix well.
Drain basmati rice into a colander and add the rice to the cooker and mix gently.
Add water, salt, coriander leaves and give a final mix.
Pressure cook over medium low flame for 1 whistle.
Switch off the stove and wait for the pressure to release on its own.
Open the cooker and fluff gently with a fork to mix evenly.
Broccoli Pulao is ready.
Serve hot with any raita or pickled onions.
