Mung Bean Sprouts And Spinach Conjee (Porridge)
A healthy breakfast porridge using Mung Bean Sprouts and Moringa Leaves.
Mung bean sprouts - 1/2 cup
Broken wheat or Godumai rava - 4 tbsp
Drumstick leaves or murungai keerai - 1 handful
Garlic pods – 3
Water – 2 cups
Salt – to taste
If using garlic pods, just crush them with the flat side of a ladle or knife to release its flavor.
Place everything in a pressure cooker and mix well.
Cook for 2 whistles over medium flame.
After the pressure is released, open the lid, mix well and serve piping hot in individual bowls.
If you want to make this gluten free then use rice rava , millets or quinoa instead of broken wheat.
