Organic Sattu Laddu recipe with step by step photos. Sattu ke ladoo made with the roasted chana dal flour are highly nutritious and healthy especially to kids.
I chose to make these healthy Sattu Laddus to welcome Diwali this year.
You may remember these Sattu Parathas that I made earlier using organic products from 24 Mantra Organic as a part of Organic Mantras. Going organic not only helps us to become healthy but also helps the farmers to evolve and grow along with us as they are the pillars of society growing food that we eat.
You Must check out the Organic Mantras initiative with 24 Mantra Organic on Instagram and Facebook if you aren’t following it already.
These healthy laddus needs just 4 ingredients and 10 mins of your time to make and does not require any expert skills if you happen to be a beginner.
Because of its high protein content, it is believed that any recipe made using organic sattu flour helps in weight gain and that is one of the important reasons you should start including it in your kids diet, especially if they are underweight.

I made these sattu laddu twice, once with regular sugar that I bought from the shop and again with the organic sugar to find out if there was any difference at all.
My observation is that organic sugar is more sweeter than that of regular sugar.
So it is enough if you add half the quantity of sugar to get the same taste and even if you add extra sugar, the burning sensation in the throat that one gets after eating an overly sweet dish when made with regular sugar was completely missing.
As the organic sugar is free of all the chemicals that are added to process and whiten the sugar, it was not only very sweet but also I did not get that burning in my throat as well.
One more reason to travel down the organic road as the food is totally safe.
