Kiwi Lemon Smoothie – A refreshing summer cooler. A vegan drink that can be had along with your breakfast as a beverage.
Though I have seen the kiwi fruit in the markets I never had a penchant to them and so never bothered to buy it as well. But it all changed when I had a sip of a Kiwi drink, the name of which still eludes me during a recent food blogger meet few months ago. I simply loved it to the core.
Coming to Pear, I hate it. Yeah, I don’t just dislike it but hate it all the way. Apart from the fresh tangy taste that you get after taking the first bite, the delight of eating this particular fruit is definitely lost on me. I still don’t get the point on why I should eat it when I can enjoy eating other delicious, much tastier fruits.
So when I was left with the challenging job of using up 2 pear fruits, I was lost on what I should do with them as the other members of the family share the same feeling of mine over it. But I’m glad that I tried this kiwi lemon smoothie which was inspired from Williams & Sonoma site.
Despite hating the fruit, I found that I simply loved this kiwi lemon smoothie. It’s a vegan fruit drink when you look at the ingredients but the texture of the drink is that of a smoothie without adding any milk, vegan or otherwise.
