Except for the husband at home, we all love broccoli very much. I had packed this broccoli pulao few days ago for the boys to school which I had shared on Instagram and the kids loved it so much.
Though broccoli happens to be a bit highly priced, it is full of nutrients and I would suggest that you add them in your day to day diet often. It is being touted as a super food as well.
Points to remember while making Broccoli Pulao:
1. You can add other vegetables like carrot, colored bell peppers along to make the pulao more colorful and healthy.
2. Make sure that you soak the rice for 15 mins minimum so that it gets cooked faster.
3. The longer you cook the rice, broccoli will become squishy and will lose its shape when you mix at the end.
4. You can also do it on stove top using left over rice.

5. You can use half ghee or cook the pulao entirely in ghee itself.
